The Idea

One day I walked down the road to the bar at the end of the street. It was a only short distance, yet my eyes noticed all those objects that I passed along the way. Some I had seen before, some I had never noticed, some were trivial, some were extraordinary, some were nice and shiny, some were old and broken. They had one thing in common: They were Things on the ground. It intrigued me and I decided to capture them the next day.

The Photographs:

The concept, based on the idea above, is minimalistic, its primitive to an almost absurd level: I take photos of things I find on the ground. That’s it. No fancy art in here, there’s little digital editing, no arrangements of items, no special lighting. All things are as I found them.
